Yet again, I dove into the book without reading any synopsis or review of the book so I could experience every plot twist as it came at me. But please note SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD for the first book.

Last thing we knew, Freya was being left in Carter's rearview mirror after finding out a relationship altering secret. She's yet again heartbroken and trying to figure out how she's going to come back from it again. Honestly, I would have passed on him after finding about his flavours the first time.

As I read this series, I kept finding similarities to the Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey . For instance, when Freya has a - ummm - "realization" after seeing her toiletries and I instantly thought of Bella on her honeymoon in Breaking Dawn. Oh and not to ignore the elephant in the room, working for a publishing company and the wealthy Billionaire with commitment issues, just a touch of Fifty Shades there.

Carter of course is being frustrating, I mean he IS a man after all! But he claims the reason for they hadn't spoken since the incident was because she was the stubborn one who didn't return any of his phone calls. Ummmm...she texted him and he flat out ignored it, if he really wanted to be with her he would have jumped at that text.

A significant amount of time passes, then she gets offered the chance to go to Paris on a business trip. Although this is s great opportunity, she is worried about bumping into a certain Billionaire. Despite all the nerves Freya does get a little taste of the good life when she gets to go to Paris, I mean her boss gave her and her coworker his black card to go spend on a new outfit. Oh and Ethan comes back into the picture in the beginning to spend the weekend at her parents and Freya may get the chance to have a semi-normal and healthy relationship. But...will they, won't they (gotta read to find out).

Ashlee Rose takes your heart and stomps on it with this book. Just when you think you're safe, plot twist and just like Freya you'll get "a feeling this wasn’t over".
